When we receive a request for development, understanding what problems the project is intended to solve and thoroughly exploring its specifics is only part of what we want to achieve. We find it equally important to understand the client’s needs. Project work certainly assumes writing clean and efficient code. However, it’s also essential for us to provide a convenient cooperation format, communication channels, delivery methods, and so on. It is important for us to build our processes in a way that gives clients an added value by doing the work in a format they find the most suitable.
How We Process a Request for Development
As soon as we receive a project development request, it is directed to our Engagement Managers. They analyze all the input data, gather up requirements, and clarify the client’s expectations. Then, they determine a team that can handle the client’s tasks in the most efficient way.
All long-term and returning clients already have their own dedicated teams and PMs. In this case, a project can land directly in a Project Manager’s hands. The team is already well familiar with the client’s needs and the specifics of the projects that need to be solved. This enables us to start working immediately.
In both these situations, we do everything to begin the project development as soon as possible, without making the client wait. This is one of the cornerstones of our service model. Our company employs over 400 professionals, so we always have a pool of free resources to start working on projects immediately.
How the Development Team Works on a Project
So, your project has been passed to one of our cool Project Managers. What’s next? First, the PM estimates the project’s complexity, studies its requirements and specifics, and selects the developers who are best fitted to work on the project. This is how a development team is formed.
Then, the PM along with the team studies the project documentation and draws a schedule. At this stage, it’s crucial to get all available project requirements and client’s expectations. This helps the PM understand the full scope of the work ahead. It also helps minimize or even avoid any revisions after the project is delivered.
During the planning stage, we try to consider all the requirements as well as deadline and budget limitations, if any. For example, if the client has to stay within a budget, the team works jointly with him or her, suggesting possible options to reduce the development cost. It’s all case-specific. Or, quite often, a project has to be completed within a tight deadline. This calls for a different approach to planning and using schedule compression techniques. The team can offer fast-tracking (performing tasks in parallel), crashing (adding more development resources to the project), or the delivery of a project like this in batches.
What makes our process special is that we always begin working on a project as soon as we receive the design files. At the same time, we put a great emphasis on the concurrent detailed investigation of the project. This is necessary to avoid extraneous communications afterwards. Practices like these also allow us to reduce the development time.
How We Test Projects
The final goal of the development process is to deliver a high-quality product that meets the client’s requirements. To achieve it, we put a great emphasis on proper testing of our projects.
Before the testing itself begins, our QA engineers meticulously study the project specifications and designs. Sometimes, the completed parts of a project are submitted for testing without waiting for the entire project to be completed. This helps reduce the finished product delivery time considerably.
The entire testing process is manual. It’s like your product, before it’s officially released, is tested by a very attentive and exacting user. We test all our projects on real devices only. This guarantees that your product will render correctly in compliance with your requirements.
How We Deliver Projects
After the development work is over, we show the end product to the client. They can review it alone or with their team. If the client thinks of making some changes to the product, our developers are always available to listen to these ideas and implement them. We work with our clients until the project is completed in accordance with all the initial requirements. The end product delivery takes place in any format the client finds suitable. This can be a file archive or the project deployment in our or a client’s environment.
We constantly work on project development and delivery process optimization. We find it important to have it free of overhead so that our clients can receive products of the highest quality within the shortest time frames. We also attach a great importance to the transparency of our processes. Our clients can always learn what is happening to their projects at every stage of the development process. In the past 15 years, we have covered a lot of distance in this direction, and we can guarantee you the best customer service. Send us your project to see it for yourselves.
